John Grywinski, President of the Vancouver Police Mutual
Benevolent Association, with a limited edition print "Salute
to our Fallen Heroes" for all the support since the
start of the Peace Officers' Memorial Ribbon campaign in
1994.

House and meet with BC's Lieutenant Governor, The Honourable
Iona Campagnolo, PC, CM, OBC. Her Honour was presented with
a Limited Edition Print and a certificate making her a "Friend
of the Society".

of the Vancouver Police Department and the RCMP lead the
Parade under the 40 foot Canadian Flag leaving Brocton Oval.

leads the Vancouver Police onto Brocton Oval.

Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery Band plays Last Post.

The combined Departments, Detachments
and Agencies on Parade, at Brockton Oval, to remember and
honour those Officers' who have died on duty.

on parade off the water of Stanley Park.

The gun from the 15th Field Artillery
on Parade and performs a gun salute to honour the fallen.

Elders from the three local First
Nations open the Service with a traditional song "The
Chief Dan George Song".

Pat Kowan, sister of Vancouver
Police Sargeant Larry Young (who was killed in the line
of duty), places a wreath to remember all fallen officers
who have died serving their communities.
