BC Police and Peace Officers'
Memorial

The 2008 BC Police and Peace Officers' Memorial is being hosted by the Surrey RCMP at Peace Arch Park. It is an opportunity to honour those officers, in BC and Canada, who have died in the line of duty. It shows the families of these officers that their loved ones did not die in vain. It shows BC and Canada that we are strong and will continue the fight to keep our communities safe.

  Date: 28 September 2008
  Time: Form up 1145 hours. 12 PM step off for 1 PM Ceremony
  Location: Peace Arch Park, Whiterock; BC
  Parking: Earl Marriott School and the school will be open for those that need to change. There is no parking at Peace Arch for members.
  Transportation: First bus to leave from Earl Marriott around 0930 hrs and last to leave school at 1100 hrs. First bus back leaves Peace Arch at 1430 hrs and last bus leaves at 1600 hrs
  Accomodation: The Pacific Inn
  Order of Dress:
  1. RCMP order of dress: Review order #1 - striped Sam Brown. Officers to wear Stetson if marching.
  2. Police and Peace Officers: Dress Uniform
  3. Work uniform with stripped gun belt. Forge Cap.
  4. Court attire.
